Her Journey with TELP

Lynne was drawn to TELP by her desire to reignite her academic learning and connect with a broader community of K-12 colleagues. The program’s unique structure in combination with varied leadership perspectives deeply resonated with her. Professionally, TELP enabled her to transition into the post-secondary sector, while personally, it helped her form lasting friendships and networks with like-minded colleagues.

Where She Is Today

Lynne’s journey through TELP continues to influence her approach, driving her efforts to create impactful educational initiatives and foster professional development in her role at UBC. Known for her warm and collaborative approach, Lynne facilitates collaborative working relationships between the Faculty of Education and the field for the development and delivery of various programs.

Lynne encourages those interested in expanding their leadership perspectives and challenging their thinking through academic inquiry to join TELP. “TELP offers a blend of leadership perspectives from researchers, practitioners, and scholars on highly relevant themes for educational leaders,” she says. “More importantly, the instructors promote a warm and supportive learning environment where all voices are heard and welcomed.”
