Both leadership and management skills are essential for an effective leader. Being able to utilize key elements of leadership when making difficult management decisions can lead to greater success and
ultimately improved student learning.

UBC is proud to offer the leading-edge ELM International Seminars – a series of seminars delivered throughout the year that focus on current and emerging leadership and management topics in education. Sessions are delivered in convenient locations, with curriculum co-developed with the ELM Advisory Committee, partner groups, leading educators and experts from the field.

  • Modules will be focused on key topics, delivered at convenient times in the year.
  • Scenarios, case studies and vignettes will be presented as part of the seminar experiences.
  • Core modules are designed to meet the needs of the participants.
  • Seminars may be offered at UBC and in convenient locations overseas.
  • Attend multiple sessions spread over 3, 5 or 10 days to build up expertise.
  • Explore topics in-depth with master educators and lead experts with a focus on theory and practice.
  • Connect with an exceptional peer group of teacher-leaders, principals, vice principals and others.
